About Nicko
A very quick bio on me. My name is Nick Singh, I started my IT career in 1981, oh yes you can count the years, I have become an old ‘bugga’. I started on the Honeywell mainframes, moved to the IBM mainframes, tried my hand as an OS/2 C developer for many years, then moved to test automation and performance testing. The areas where a retired developer can still have some fun. I am passionate about performance testing and work for a company JK Vine Consulting a company that specializes in performance and automated testing.
It has been a long time coming but I thought if I had kept a blog from way back in 1981 it would have been a wealth of information I could source today. I am not sure how much of it would be relevant today, but still it would be like my own Wikipedia for IT. Oh well, I thought it is never too late to start anything, and this blog will be primarily for my own benefit (due to my age I forget a lot and need to store information elsewhere sort of like a backup) but also hopefully I can help a few others along the way.
cheers and here’s to your good health
Nick
